Wait for it… ⏳
Have you noticed how we all seem to crave instant gratification in today’s fast-paced world?
From speedy solutions to rapid outcomes, we’re all about quick fixes and shortcuts. It’s no wonder why we’re always on the hunt for the next big thing that promises immediate results.
Our thresholds to linger have seemed to vanish, we no longer have that toleration.

We celebrate swiftness and speed, we want what we want and when do we want it? We want it now! I am also guilty of this.
I know how impatient I can get when I need a breakthrough from God, and then there is this silence, where you don’t hear from God quickly this leaves room for the devil to come with that voice (you probably know it)
“you think God hears you?
Do you think God has your time?
Why will He answer you when you don’t follow His will?
Accusing you of all sorts and making you doubt the everlasting love that God has for you.
James 5:7–8b ”Be patient, then, my friends, until the Lord comes. See how patient farmers are as they wait for their land to produce precious crops. They wait patiently for the autumn and spring rains.“

This stood out for me, this is from one of the #Youversion verses of the day.
In a world where instant gratification is the norm, it’s easy to forget the beauty of patience and waiting for things to come to fruition. Like farmers who trust in the process of planting and harvesting or the nine months it takes for a baby to be born, we too can learn to embrace the waiting and enjoy the journey towards our goals and dreams.
Throughout this year, I’ve been deeply contemplating the idea that I am currently in a phase of my life where God is guiding me towards the development of more patience.
